always have a little surprise from everythings in my daily life.

....I received the greeting cards from Kristiana Parn, and Alla Kinda; they know petit morpho mainly offering lovely stamps, and they carved something to show their little heart!!

when I was drafting up my speech for Japan, there is a Japanese young lady visited she said she just finished her morning' marathon, and then came over to adopt our artists' stamps by her sister's referral!

seriously, I feel very happy of the current status of petit morpho.

.... even in Japan it is difficult to gather all the greatest stamps-carving artists in one place;

but somehow we do have in Hong Kong, in petit morpho!

One day, I showed the entire artists' handcarved stamps to my mom for the consultation.
She is also an artistic person, so her comments also very valuable to me!

I asked, "What is the difference between Japan, and Hong Kong stamp-carving artists?"

She said, "they are overall very good in skills and lovely for the designs; but Hong Kong artists' are not attractive enough...."

she comments, "there is no 奥行き(depth) for the Hong Kong artists'...the design is very flat; Japanese artists are very sensitive in lines to made it thick or thin to make the general image having more 立体感(stereoscopic effect)” She especially feel amazed of the lines of SnowyCrystal, she said this artist has a strong drawing power to make sure to show the specific line to be thick, and to be thin. No wonder her creations keep catching the repeaters to adopt since 2008.

Stamps-carving is a kind of Art Engraving.

After the Stamp Show, petit morpho will focus on carrying the potential artists to lead them to the artistic way by organizing different activities and events in Asia-Pacific region.

we decided to organize a Stamps-Carving workshop, Demonstration and the exhibition at the same time by sending the highly-qualified Instructors from Japan.

both of them received quite a lot of prizes in the design contest, and the book just released included both of them as well.

Tsubuan Stamp will have his Solo Exhibition, and Demonstration;

Kotori will hold a Stamps-Carving workshop..

Kotori is the one Tsubuan Stamp the very admirest artist....

I believe it will be a very excited scenary to see both artists in a single event in Singapore!

(shuuu....both of them will show their creations in part 1 of Stamp Show this year!!)

If you love hand-carving rubber stamps, and using your original hand-carved stamps to create something else (i.e. greeting cards, tote bags, gift boxes, accessories……etc), it is a FUN challenge to win a super big size Rubber Board from the contest from the Organization in Japan – Hinodewashi Co., Ltd

Rules:

· The applicant is allowed to submit for one artwork or multi artworks by using your Original hand-carved stamps. If submitting more than one artwork, then it is a high possibilitie to win the contest.

· It is strongly prohibited to use the famous characters (i.e. Hello Kitty, Disney) on the artwork(s) due to the copyright issue.

I was expecting to finish in one hour, indeed it is out of my expectation.

I am not in Thailand, it is my first time first experience to be in ShenZhen..

everything amazed me, and I feel Hong Kong is kind of fell behind.

wowow!!! the exhibition is toooo awesome.

the quality of creating each model to present their works is surprisingly amazing!!!

if the case in Hong Kong, I believe you have to squeeze with other people taking pictures here and there....however there is none of those craziest people here!!

it is not an Art Fair, it is the exhibition all about the architecture....

sigh~ my eyes hurt by viewing too many beautiful things!

First time visiting ShenZhen in my life time on December.28 (Wednesday)/2011, because we need to have a real site of the space of "little thing shop" after meeting up the parties in Hong Kong before the week of Christmas.

well~ everything amazing to me by having a first visit to ShenZhen.

getting into the china-chic atmosphere only a step of border...

between Hong Kong, and ShenZhen

the scale of space is huge!!!!

I assumed it is a few walk for each block, I need to spend at least 10 minutes to walk each of the street...totally getting lost in this OCT-LOFT village.

it is NOT a little thing shop.....

it is such a huge little thing shop, with a 2,000 sq.ft

super high ceiling floor with designer's funiture here and there.

I personally love those designer' clothes they selected..

I wanna buy some clothes back for myself, however I didn't prepare any RMB ....

otherwise I probably dropped quite a lot of cash note here -_-"

next time when I visit again, perhaps it is for my own shopping here.

from year 2012', they moved down the Gallery Space from the Industrial Building into this brandnew Iaohin Gallery located in the city-centre in Macau.

the former place at the Industrial Building may use it as Private workshops & activities!!

soft-opening on December.27/2011', so we are going to have a casual visit to Macau!!

....very very interesting floor-plan,

depth inside as a long corridor!!

customers in and out because it is too new to see a private gallery in Macau.

actually there are not many private galleries in Macau, only less than five I counted.

the Founder & Owner of the Portuguese Bookstore - Ponto Final - and he is also the Publisher of one of three daily Portuguese newspapers in Macau.

starting from 沙田, what a nice sky and clouds!!

I love riding on the huge wheel bike (for men' size) ....

reached at 大埔, see the Lion Rock Mountain and 沙田 is sooo small.

I can say riding from 大埔 along the 汀角路 is the most difficult part,

coz the road is so rigid. I had a little incident over there scratching a little of my "paw" -_-"

we had a casual visiting of the second store of

Petite Chambre de Yummy

WOWOW!! ....what a huge space

..compared to Hong Kong, it is such a great deal without spending for extra money on renovation at all...

coz it had already furnished nicely with proper air-conditioner before moving-in!!

Yummy is a busy lady....

back and forth of the atelier and shop all the time

ummmm... a very high ceiling and a good nature day-light coming in!!!

when I mentioned about the shops she usually visits in Hong Kong

...are all disappeared due to the high rental.

She feels quite disappointed!

I was being forced to use my head to pre-modelling for the hair-piece creation by the Hair & Make-up Artist the day before yesterday.

one of the famous Photographers in Hong Kong, Mr. Almond Chu, was being invited to shoot the portraits using the pre-launch camera lens released from CANON

Chris needs to create several hair-pieces matching with the unique dresses made by stylist.

YES he is also an artist...to meet the needs offered by the clients.

the shooting held at the Forest like lcoation....

if by chances the clients love the works, you have a chance to see the real model styling interestingly with these hair-pieces from various channels.

coz he was sooo shy of showing his huge close-up of the picture, so he used the pen to cover a part of...

regarding to year 2013'

YES...I am now already moving on for the two years after' schedule

from the day one, when I decided to run petit morpho;

it is difficult for me to stop and take a refreshment...

coz there are so many things approaching me to accomplish!

there are so many things for me to keep learning from....

running something related to ART always need to spend for the long-term invement;

sometimes being an Angel and a Devil for making a quick decision to proceed for the next step by applying for the "give & take theory"

I really want to "clone" myself to minimize my workload.

when I reached to 40 years old age, I will move on to my next dream career path to be a "Simultaneous Interpreter" to work globally (i.e. perhaps you have a chance to see me on WHO, WTO, United Nations' Conferences...etc that's what I dreamt for long to have this honour....who knows?!); six more years for me to makes something for you to WOW HAPPY with petit morpho, then I can pass it to someone to look after on behalf of myself.
